Homewood’s Will Myers tossed three touchdowns and ran for another in the first half and the ninth-ranked Patriots bullied their way to a 52-0 victory over Jackson-Olin in Thursday’s Class 6A, Region 5 showdown.
Homewood (5-0, 3-0) remains undefeated and all but shores up a playoff spot with the win. The Patriots, along with Parker and Minor, are the only undefeated teams in the region.
