A NASTY Z-list ‘celebrity’ who trolled Princess Kate should be ashamed of herself, an expert has slammed.
The Princess of Wales was subject to a “gross tweet” last weekend when she bravely made another public appearance despite her cancer battle.
Good Morning Britain star Narinder Kaur cruelly suggested Kate is a smoker because of how she looked and questioned “why has she aged so much?”.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show with Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, expert and reporter Bronte Coy said the tweet was highly “insensitive” and “disappointing”.
She said: “The initial tweet was deleted and the person in question apologised and said it was insensitive.
“But the more confusing part was the follow-up, which was the apology video, which was creating a platform for discussion about how sick Kate was and exactly what was wrong with her.
“Baring in mind she’s put herself out there in a way we haven’t really seen from the royals, in sharing how she’s felt about her health journey, she’s given us more information than she had to.
“So for there to be a platform again for dissection of what’s wrong with her… I think that was really disappointing.”
Katie Nicholl from Vanity Fair, who also appeared on this weeks show, added: “This is someone with an opinion and frankly an opinion that didn’t need to be aired.
“The person in question wondered whether the only reason that the Princess of Wales could have looked the way she did was because she’d perhaps been smoking.
“I think most people looked at the Princess of Wales and thought it’s pretty remarkable that you’re here.
“She is a busy young mother. She’s gone through probably the hardest year of her life.
“She’s gone through some pretty gruelling treatment, major surgery and psychologically having to come to terms with the cancer diagnosis.”
Kate, 42, watched on from a balcony over the Cenotaph in central London on Remembrance Sunday last week.
It was her second appearance at a Remembrance event in as many days as she returned to work after finishing her treatment.
But after Kate’s appearance at the ceremony, TV personality Narinder tweeted about how she has “aged so much”.
The 51-year-old, who has appeared on GB News and Loose Women, wrote: “Genuine question – why has Kate aged so much?
“Isn’t she only 42? Is she a smoker? It’s the only explanation.”
Narinder faced a wave of backlash on X with users describing her comments as “dreadful” and “disgusting”.
She later shared a tweet in response to the criticism which has now been deleted.
The former Big Brother housemate admitted the remark she made was “stupid” and “insensitive”.
She penned: “I put out a tweet earlier. A genuine ask about why Kate Middleton had aged so much.
“It was genuinely – an ask. I thought she was perhaps a smoker. It was, on reflection, a stupid, insensitive tweet.
“More so because someone who lost her brother to cancer should have known better.”
Narinder then posted a video admitting the tweet was “stupid”.
She said: “I thought I’d do a quick video instead of tweet after tweet, because it becomes pretty ridiculous – as if it wasn’t ridiculous enough already.
“I put out a stupid tweet. That wasn’t my intention, my intention was not to be malicious or nasty or anything.
“I’m not like that, anybody who knows me. It was stupid to ask about the ageing.
“I’ve admitted that, I’ve put my hands up and apologised if it caused offence.”
In January Kate spent 13 nights at The London Clinic for abdominal surgery.

Subsequent tests found cancer and she began preventative chemotherapy treatment in late February.
In September she told the world in a family video that she had finished chemo.
ARTHUR EDWARDS When Kate smiles it’s like a clap of thunder – our beautiful Princess is on road to recovery, and we couldn’t be happier
YOU could have heard a pin drop as King Charles led Britain in two minutes of sombre remembrance.
The Monarch appeared to have the troubles of the world on his shoulders as he lay a wreath on the Cenotaph.
Our King cares so deeply for the soldiers who laid down their lives for Britain.
And he would have been thinking about those he too has lost in recent years, his mother The Queen being one of them.
I too remembered those in my family who lost their lives in World War One.
My grandfather – my name sake who I never met – was only 36 when he sacrificed his life for our country.
He left five children behind, one of whom was my father. I think of him often.
But the star attraction was the Princess of Wales, and we were thrilled to see her.
Catherine – beautiful as always –Â looked really well as she shared the balcony with Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh.
She cut a sombre figure along with the rest of Britain, during the two minutes of silence to remember fearless heroes who laid down their lives.
But then… a smile. And it was like a clap of thunder through my camera. She is the star attraction.
It is a shame our lovely Queen Camilla wasn’t at her side. She would have loved to be there.
But she felt, of course, that she must stay in the warm, and recover from her chest infection. And a wreath was laid on her behalf.
As the ceremony progressed, we saw Catherine chatting away with Sophie – they are of course, great pals.
The two sung hymns together – with plenty of gusto at that. I’d love to hear Kate sing…
I – like all of us – want to see Catherine fit and well before she gets back to work.
And the ceremony showed our Princess is well on the road to recovery. I’m looking forward to seeing much more of her in the future.
