TONY DOCHERTY was left fearing the worst when another one of his players fell ill in the dressing room – five weeks after Mo Sylla’s health scare.
This time it was on-loan Burnley ace Julien Vetro who suffered a medical incident, but thankfully the manager has revealed the player has recovered.
Dundee’s clash with Kilmarnock this afternoon was initially pencilled in for a 3pm kick-off but it was delayed until to 3.15pm for what was initially described as an “incident in the stadium”.
It has since been revealed that the 20-year-old collapsed in the dressing room and had to be rushed to hospital.
Docherty has confirmed though that it wasn’t anything too serious and the youngster was back at the stadium celebrating the win with his team-mates after the game.
The manager said: “It was very unsettling. Credit to the players for dealing with the way they dealt with it.

“Julien had an episode in the changing room when we were all sitting just waiting for me to address the team.
“He just fainted, I think. He was taken up to hospital for a precaution. But he’s fine now, I’m glad to say.
“It’s not nice for the players to see that. It was very worrying at the time. We’ve had a similar situation earlier on this season with Big Mo Sylla.
“It’s difficult for the players and staff to see that but they showed strength of character, real mentality and real resilience.
“Julien is in the dressing-room now celebrating.
“He went to hospital for a precaution but he’s fine.”
Kilmarnock scored a last-minute winner in a stunning comeback over Docherty’s men last month.
But this time it was Docherty’s men who grabbed three points after the two sides served up another five-goal thriller.
It was the Dundee boss’ Tony Docherty’s first win over his old pal Derek McInnes after six previous attempts.
