FEMALE balding does not have to be an end all be all according to one woman who shared her secret to regrowing her mane.
She said her tips helped her after a 14-year hair-thinning struggle — and her holy grail products won’t break the bank.
Elena Folens (@elenafolens) filmed herself detailing her routine in a video on TikTok.
“Things that helped my female pattern baldness, part one,” read the text.
She addressed a popular tool called a scalp scrubber, warning people to use it properly to prevent damage.
“Only use scalp scrubber on dry hair,” she said. “[It] causes breakage to fragile hair when hair is wet.”
Elena also said she used a popular product for regrowing her tresses.
“I use a prescribed Minoxidil-based scalp treatment, but The Ordinary has a cheap, unprescribed alternative,” she said.
She referred to the Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density by The Ordinary, retailing for $16.71.
“K18 for breakage of current hair,” she added
