BOXER Jake Paul’s feud with Tommy Fury didn’t just stick to the boxing world, as he also lashed out at Tommy’s ex Molly-Mae Hague
Boxers Jake Paul and Tommy Fury have a messy history both inside and outside of the ring, but it appears Jake Paul doesn’t just stick to pulling punches.
Jake Paul has also kept used their fierce rivalry to kick off with a snide dig at Tommy’s ex girlfriend and fellow Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague.
The Love Island couple, who share daughter Bambi together, split earlier this year with their break up sending shockwaves to fans.
Yet at the time, Jake Paul also used it to get one up on his boxing rival as he said in an interview with The Sun: “I don’t want to dive into someone’s personal life like that but I hope they’re figuring it out and they figure it out with the kids and everything but I’m still going to beat his ass as a single father.”
The sharp words didn’t just stop there either as when asked whether Paul felt Fury had ‘devalued’ himself, he didn’t hold back.
He slammed the star as he said: “”He definitely continues to devalue himself over time, saying no to the Netflix opportunity was probably the dumbest thing a boxer in history has done.
“Like you literally turned down the biggest platform and now he’s got caught cheating and got divorced and now he is a single father.”
The comments came in August, just weeks after Molly-Mae Hague announced to fans her relationship with Tommy Fury had ended.
In a statement on social media, the influencer and model wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”
She added: “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.
“Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. “
She finished the post: “You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.
“Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae.”
Tommy Fury also shared his own statement revealing he was “heartbroken” over the split.
