June Jam announces lineup, events: How to find tickets

The June Jam music festival hosted by the country group Alabama has announced a lineup of artists and events.

The 2024 event – the 18th festival – will be June 1 at the DeKalb County VFW Fairgrounds.

According to a press release in the Fort Payne Times-Journal, the lineup includes:

  • Old Dominion (six-time ACM and CMA “Group of the Year”);
  • Shenandoah;
  • Lee Greenwood (“God Bless the U.S.A.”);
  • Montgomery Gentry featuring Eddie Montgomery;
  • Mark Wills;
  • Exile;
  • John Berry;
  • Taylor Hicks;
  • The Malpass Brothers;
  • The Castellows;
  • And a surprise performance by a hitmaking singer-songwriter.

The performances begin at noon local time on June 1. Alabama’s Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry will close the show.

“We are excited and look forward to playing our songs for y’all at this year’s Jam,” Owen said in a press release. “We have a true mutual love for our fans, and they always support the band and the June Jam Foundation.”

June Jam benefits “those in need and disaster relief in and around the state of Alabama,” the press release said.

June Jam was created by members of the group Alabama, who are from Fort Payne. The first benefit concert was held in 1982. To date, the June Jam Foundation has raised more than $20 million for charities.
