With Chapter 1125 of One Piece on the horizon, fans are eagerly waiting for multiple key events to unfold following the Egghead Arc. Eiichiro Oda has crafted another jaw-dropping chapter by providing a glimpse of the power of the supreme ruler of the World Government. According to previous leaks of the upcoming chapter, Imu is shown to display his deadly power and authority as he kills off a Gorosei member, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, without any mercy.
But Saturn’s death may have a heavy impact, even on the position of one of the Marines. As it was previously seen, Admiral Borsalino, AKA Kizaru, was guarding Saturn on his journey to Egghead Island. Thus, Saturn’s gruesome death now casts a shadow over Kizaru’s future, raising the question of whether he will be held responsible for this.
The Premise of the One Piece Chapter 1125
In the previous arc, Saturn, the Warrior God of Science and Defense, was sent to Egghead Island with the purpose of killing Vegapunk. However, the task was later handled by Kizaru, but it was also coupled with incredible failures, such as Vegapunk’s broadcast message.
The leaks of One Piece‘s chapter 1125 reveal that, Upon Saturn’s return he was suggested to follow the Straw Hats to Elbaf. However, Saturn declines the offer as he states that he already got what he wanted. This is the time when Imu-sei decides to take things into his own hands. He appointed Garling Figarland as the replacement for Saturn and quickly killed off Saturn by engulfing him in black flame, leaving only his skeleton behind.
This event has started a buzz within the fanbase. As no one other than Gorosei possibly knows the existence of Imu, Saturn’s death raises several questions, particularly about the potential fallout for those associated with him. Kizaru, Saturn’s protector, now finds himself in a dangerous position.
What’s awaiting next for Kizaru in One Piece?
With Saturn’s unexpected death at the hands of Imu, Kizaru could easily become the scapegoat. The Marines and the general public know nothing of Imu’s existence. To the outside world, it may appear that Kizaru failed in his mission, unable to protect Saturn from whatever danger led to his demise.
This leads to speculation that, following this event, Kizaru’s story might take an even more dramatic turn than Aokiji’s. The burden of guilt or being wrongfully blamed for Saturn’s death could push him away from the organization he has loyally served for years.
Fan speculations raise questions about if Kizaru gets defected from the Marines, which side will he possibly join. For some fans, it would be great if they joined the pirates, but this idea seems too far-fetched. According to the majority of fans, joining the Revolutionary Army is most plausible for Kizaru given the circumstances.
The Revolutionary Army stands in direct opposition to the World Government and seeks to overthrow its tyrannical rule. With the recent revelation of Imu’s power and the shocking actions taken against the Gorosei, Kizaru could come to realize that the true enemy is not the pirates he has spent his life fighting, but the corrupt system he has served.
What once seemed like a wild theory; Kizaru leaving the Marines and joining the Revolutionary Army — now appears to be a legitimate possibility. With Saturn’s death at the hands of Imu, Kizaru may soon find himself at a crossroads. If he is blamed for Saturn’s failure, the laid-back admiral could choose to follow Aokiji’s path and defect from the Marines. This potential shift in Kizaru’s character arc would not only be a fascinating development for his character but also a pivotal moment in the One Piece story as a whole.
