I’M not going to lie to you, I don’t think that many of the couples needed a reunion last night, but let’s get into it…
This year’s series of the E4 show has come to an end – and Thursday evening saw the couples gather one last time to talk about their time during the experiment.
We saw some of our favourites return to our screen, with some couples still together… and others who were very much not.
Side note – I didn’t get much of a reunion ceremony last year because Arthur was too hungover to show up.
But let’s talk about the couples that did make it this year!
If you are as obsessed as Married At First Sight as I am, you need to keep reading, as I’ve got some thoughts…
Kristina and Kieran
I think Kieran was not ready for this experiment at all.
I think he should have sort emotional support or therapy before going in.
That just shows when a man isn’t emotionally available what the by-product could be.
Kristina is broken.
Amy and Luke
The language he used was so bulfat I’m so glad the experts held him for account with his comment.
It’s such a weird comment to write to someone you’re not dating anymore.
You saw the real Luke come out when he was challenged by Paul, he didn’t like it at all.
If this is who this man has been behind the scenes, Amy is well shot of him!
It was so uncomfortable when the group are laughing, Amy doesn’t find it funny.
It’s uncomfortable to talk about it on national TV?!
Ryan and Sionainn
I have so many questions about Ryan and Sionainn – who is telling the truth here?
Do we believe Sionainn was twisting his words to make it a coercive relationship or was it starting to be a coercive relationship?
Sionainn said he made comments about her weight, that’s a no go in any relationship, but he was trying to spin it that she wasn’t eating properly.
I’m confused and I feel like I need more context.
Will more come out now that the show has stopped airing?
Hannah
We saw her get her moment.
I can’t believe Holly is saying it was her fault, and that she was reacting to her and her actions.
No. We’re adults and we’re all in control of our actions?!
We don’t have to react a certain way. She lacks accountability for the aggressive behaviour she’s brought to the table.
I’m not sure how you can class it reacting to someone when Hannah simply walked into a room and she was verbally abused.
I understand Hannah ruffled up the girls the wrong way, I do think she did it on purpose.
They’re not going to be friends, but at least they can be civil.
When Sacha piped up and said it wasn’t gang mentality – yes it was! It literally was.
Adam and Polly
They are being forced to be friends… but why are we forcing a friendship?
When you split up with someone and it ends that badly it’s reasonable you don’t remain in each other’s lives.
I honestly don’t think those two would be able to be friends without ripping each other’s heads off.
It was a little out of order when Adam refused to take accountability for his actions during their marriage.
But I do think Polly got away with it on the sofa because she does know he wasn’t into her.
Her best friend was telling her that he’s not into you and she chose to ignore.
The experts at some point were trying to promote intimacy so I do think it was rich when they asked if he had led her on after having sex with her.
But that’s it! MAFS 2024 is officially over. What are we all going to watch now?!
I need an emotional break from the toxicity from this season.
And one more thing… Are adam and amy a thing?

I’ve seen things circulating on social media…
I’d definitely like some clarity on that!
