LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A man was arrested for stealing items in Lawrence County, according to authorities.
On Friday, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to a tip about stolen items from the old Rogers Group rock quarry on County Road 7.
LCSO issued a ‘be on the lookout’ (BOLO) advisory and authorities were able to identify 35-year-old Ethan Tee Dutton as the suspect.
Dutton was taken into custody after a Town Creek patrolman pulled him over in a traffic stop.
Because of his arrest, officers were able to recover a stolen shaker deck.
The sheriff’s office said Dutton is charged with first-degree theft of property, second-degree criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
