Throughout his illustrious career, NBA legend LeBron James has been unsusceptible to any form of major controversies, at least for the most part, thanks to his squeaky-clean image. However, his past association with P. Diddy brought him under heavy criticism, following the string of legal cases lined up against the rapper.
With the rapper now being charged for s-x trafficking and racketeering, who allegedly organized dayslong s-x gatherings, fueled by drugs and violence, James’ previous stance on Diddy’s parties has now come back to haunt him.
Lebron James’ Comments About P. Diddy’s Parties Has Aged Poorly
Not long after P. Diddy was arrested following the charges of s-x trafficking and racketeering, a Federal indictment was unsealed, which detailed the disgraced music mogul’s alleged “Freak offs”. According to the indictment, Diddy allegedly coerced female victims into prolonged s-x gatherings by distributing “a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant“.
Considering that LeBron James previously spoke highly of parties organized by the rapper in an unearthed IG live, in the wake of Diddy’s controversies, the NBA legend has also found himself part of the discourse.

However, it’s entirely possible that the NBA legend was completely oblivious to Diddy’s alleged heinous acts, and his comments might be referring to the normal gatherings organized by the rapper. Moreover, when the video of Diddy allegedly abusing his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura surfaced on the web, James was quick to unfollow the rapper on IG. But it can’t be said for certain if it was a PR move or a personal decision on his part.
Zack Snyder Wants To Involve Lebron James in the Rebel Moon Universe
Apart from finding himself amidst the whole Diddy fiasco following his past comments, LeBron James has also been on the radar of the former head of the defunct DCEU, Zack Snyder. Ahead of the release of Rebel Moon – Part 1: A Child of Fire, the first entry in Snyder’s new cinematic universe, when he was asked about future possibilities with the IP, the director entertained the idea of casting the NBA icon.
I have an embarrassment of riches. To dream bigger than that just seems rude. I think if I could get LeBron James in the movie… I know that sounds crazy. I’m just saying… We’ll see as the story evolves.
While Rebel Moon and its sequel weren’t exactly critical hits, it doesn’t look like the BVS director is slowing down with this new IP anytime soon. Moreover, considering the NBA icon is also no stranger to the showbiz, his involvement in the franchise is not entirely out of the realm of possibilities.
