Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has become a hot topic on the internet, leaving fans stunned by the mangaka’s narrative twists in the final chapters. With the manga coming close to its conclusion, JJK fans witnessed Sukuna’s reign of terror finally come to an end. Throughout the series, Gege Akutami showcased Sukuna as an opponent of unmatched strength.

Sadly, Gege Akutami concluded Sukuna’s long-anticipated end in a single chapter, leaving many fans bitterly disappointed. Regardless, fans are celebrating the return of every character who died at Sukuna’s hands, except Gojo, leaving some a bit upset by Gege’s narrative. With only a few chapters left before the manga’s end, Gege Akutami has been showcasing the great bond between sorcerers such as Yuta, Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, and more.

With Sukuna’s death, Jujutsu sorcerers can finally breathe easy and look forward to living their lives with happiness. As the series approaches its conclusion, JJK fans are wondering if their beloved anime series is poised for a new challenge that could elevate Gege’s masterpiece above iconic titles like One Piece and Naruto.

Jujutsu Kaisen Live-Action Hype Grows as Fans’ Hopes Rise

Owing to the Netflix-inspired One Piece live-action series success, many manga creators are showing interest in following Eiichiro Oda‘s footsteps and bringing their creativity to big screens. While Gege Akutami hasn’t announced anything related to Jujutsu Kaisen‘s live-action series, fans are immensely excited about the upcoming JJK 0‘s highly anticipated stage play adaptation.

Kensaku Kobayashi directs the new adaptation, and Kohei Kiyasu is in charge of the script, having both helmed the previous JJK stage plays. Interestingly, the production team has announced a new set of cast photos showcasing the main protagonist, Yuta Okkotsu, Satoru Gojo, and Yuta’s fellow Jujutsu classmates.

The similarities between the cast members and JJK‘s iconic character have left fans awe-struck. Indeed, with the revelation of the JJK 0 stage play, fans’ hope of seeing a live adaptation of their beloved series has gone wild online.

Yuta Okkotsu will be played by Yuki Ogoe; whereas the fan favorite, Gojo Satoru, will be brought to life by Ryosuke Miura. Stage Jujutsu Kaisen 0: With Live Band will debut in Tokyo in December and also be performed in Osaka by the end of January 2025.

This upcoming production marks the third stage play adaptation in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, but it will be the first to feature a live band. JJK 0 follows the story of Yuta Okkotsu, who is bound to a powerful cursed spirit, leaving fans eager to witness Gege Akutami‘s masterpiece adaptation to a stage play.

Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen Finale Plans Leave Fans Puzzled

During the Heian Era, Sukuna was the most feared sorcerer, known for killing many for amusement and spreading terror for centuries. Fast forward to Chapter 268, Yuji triumphs over the King of Curses.

At last, our beloved protagonist saves his best friend, Megumi Fushiguro, whose survival once seemed uncertain. However, Itadori only managed to kill the King of Curses, thanks to the surprising assistance of Nobara Kugisaki.

Uraume also disclosed that Sukuna was defeated not due to Yuji’s strength, but because he was reincarnated in a weaker body. With Uraume’s claims, Akutami has confirmed that Sukuna is the strongest character in the entire JJK series even after dying at the hands of Yuji.

A few weeks back, JJK fans feared a rushed ending; now they’re concerned about how Gege will navigate the remaining chapters after Sukuna’s conclusion.
