Live updates: Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer, coaches talk Georgia, open week

No. 4 Alabama football has an open week, but it really feels like the first of two weeks of prep for the matchup against No. 1/2 Georgia.

The Bulldogs will make the trip to Tuscaloosa a week from Saturday for a primetime matchup.

Jalen Milroe will look to continue scoring on the ground and through the air. Ryan Williams will face an SEC defense for the first time. And the defense will aim to stifle the best offense it has faced this season.

Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer is set to hold his weekly press conference Monday, even during the open week.

Coaches will begin speaking at about 11:30, starting with the coordinators. Then DeBoer is set for noon. Follow along for live updates.

  • Sheridan thought the protection from the offensive line was outstanding in the game vs. Wisconsin.
  • Sheridan said Alabama is not happy with the three-and-outs. The Crimson Tide is looking to improve in that area.
  • Sheridan said the consistency is what Alabama is looking for down in and down out.
  • Sheridan said the ability to block is the fundamental of any good offense.
