Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers (1-1) are looking to bounce back this week as they host the New Mexico Lobos (0-2) for homecoming at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The game comes on the heels of last week’s loss to Cal and a major shakeup in the Tigers’ starting lineup.

On Friday afternoon, it was reported that Freeze had decided to make a change at quarterback and would be giving redshirt freshman Hank Brown a shot as his first start.

Third quarter

4:55 — Hank Brown dumps off a pass to Jarquez Hunter for a TD

Taking over possession off of Antonio Kite’s interception, Hank Brown and the Auburn offense orchestrated a three-play, 55-yard drive that was capped off by a 14-yard touchdown pass to Jarquez Hunter.

5:33 — Auburn’s Antonio Kite picks off New Mexico’s Devon Dampier

Kite recorded Auburn’s second interception of the night, picking off Dampier and returning it 19 yards out to midfield.

9:58 — Hank Brown finds Auburn tight end Micah Riley for a TD

Rolling out to his right, Brown finds Riley in the back corner of the end zone for a 3-yard touchdown.

Set up by Hank Brown’s deep pass to KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Auburn senior running back Jarquez Hunter polishes off the drive with a 2-yard touchdown rush.
