BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN ) — Thursday marked the 10th annual Mr. Darby’s Christmas Open House.
It’s a way for people to get some unique, antique Christmas decorations while helping the community.
There was a basket raffle, food, and of course, a discount on antiques. The owners of Mr. Darby’s on Market Street have been doing this for years. All the money goes to a different charity every year.
Last year, they raised about $1,500. This year, they chose to support St. Vincent De Paul.
“This is something, my wife and I, that we’ve always talked about. We might not be millionaires but we’re millionaires in where we can give back,” said co-owner Robert Neopolitan.
The owners also wanted to thank their food sponsors. The basket raffle will be going on in-store for a few more weeks.
