Today, the ‘trial of the century’ against Manchester City starts. The club of Kevin De Bruyne and Jérémy Doku will have to answer in the coming weeks for the 115 charges of financial malpractice that the Premier League filed against the English champions. If found guilty, City risks hefty fines, points deductions and/or even relegation from the Premier League. However, a verdict is not expected until early 2025.
