However, the most interesting thing about Loki’s character is the fact that he is captured and tied in the Underworld using seastones, and he is desperate to escape from his imprisonment. This is why he even asked Luffy to release him in exchange for destroying any pirate crew that he wants. But it looks like Luffy won’t fall into the trap of Loki, as he is in no mood to free the accursed prince.

While Luffy most likely won’t help Loki escape, a One Piece theory claims that there is another pirate on Elbaph who is desperate for revenge against Shanks and will probably free Loki in order to defeat Shanks and his crew. This pirate is none other than Eustass Kid, who was recently defeated by Shanks during the Egghead Island arc.

The Fall of Eustass Kid in One Piece

Although Eustass Kid and his crew were introduced during the Sabaody Archipelago arc, they only got relevance in the One Piece story since Wano. Kid and his first mate, Killer, were captured by Kaido and exploited just like the rest of the prisoners of Wano, but he met Luffy there, who formed an alliance with him to take down the Emperor of the Sea.

The two, along with Trafalgar D. Water Law, went on to raid Onigashima, and while Luffy fought Kaido, Law and Kid took down Big Mom together. This earned him a lot of fame and recognition in the One Piece world, and from there on, he moved forward in his journey to find the Man with the Burn Scar, who had the last poneglyph.

However, his journey was not easy, as he came across the grand fleet of his old nemesis in Elbaph, Red-Haired Shanks. Filled with rage, Kid decided to attack Shanks’ crew and take revenge for chopping his arm off in the last duel. But Kid and his rage could not last long in front of Shanks’ might, as the Emperor took him and his crew down with just one attack, finally closing the chapter of Eustass Kid and the Kid Pirates in One Piece.

One Piece Theory Claims Eustass Kid Might Exploit Loki

Although Eustass Kid’s story ended during the Egghead Island arc, a theory by @writingpanini on X claims that he might just make a comeback in One Piece. As it is already established from the spoilers of One Piece chapter 1131, Loki is desperately trying to escape his imprisonment from Elbaph’s underworld, and he is willing to do anything for it.

The theory states that just like Loki, Eustass Kid might also be imprisoned in the Underworld after his defeat at the hands of Shanks. Therefore, there is a big possibility that Eustass Kid might meet with Loki, and Loki might offer the same deal to Kid that he offered Luffy. As Kid is desperate for his revenge against Shanks, he might just take up Loki on his offer.

He might free Loki from his imprisonment and get a chance to once again make a comeback in One Piece and cause the Ragnarok of the series. However, the only problem is that it looks like Loki might not stand up to his deal, as he has other plans. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see how the One Piece narrative develops further.

One Piece manga is available to read on Viz Media.
