LUKE LITTLER survived a major scare as he progressed into the semi-finals of the World Series of Darts.
Littler made it past Chris Dobey in the Amsterdam finals in a thrilling contest.
Five 180s – three by Dobey and two by Littler – were hit in the opening five legs alone, which was a sign of things to come as they hit 19 180s overall.
Speaking ahead of his game against Dobey, Littler said: “Obviously, me and Chris, we’ve got the same management.
“We’ll sit together, we have a laugh and I’m sure it’ll be the same tomorrow.”
And they certainly did just that as they hit a seemingly endless number of 180s – with Littler grabbing 10 and Dobey 9.
Littler took a seemingly decisive three-leg lead over Dobey at 5-8, with countless 180s in tow for both.
However, Dobey pulled the score back to 7-8.
But Littler kept his nerve to then take the next two legs and see him through to the semi-finals.
More to follow.
