YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — YSU senior Malia Magestro scored a career-high 25 points in the Penguin’s 64-56 win over Mercyhurst Tuesday afternoon.

More than 2,400 students from area schools were in attendance for the annual Kid’s Day Game at the Beeghly Center.
Warren Harding grad Faith Burch finished with a season-high 12 points, and junior Abby Liber added 10 for the Penguins.
Mercyhurst was led by Bailey Kuhns, who finished with 22 points and 5 rebounds.
The victory marked the first in program history over Mercyhurst and kept the Penguins undefeated this season at 4-0.
YSU will make ita first road trip of the season this weekend when the Penguins take on Bucknell this Saturday at 11 a.m.
