Manchester United reportedly have no plans to allow Paul Pogba back to Carrington for training following the midfielder’s Juventus exit earlier this month.
Manchester United are reportedly not prepared to welcome Paul Pogba to training following his exit from Juventus.
The 31-year-old’s professional career has been thrown into doubt in recent times due to a four-year doping ban he received in March of this year.
However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has since reduced the length of the suspension to 18 months, and as a result Pogba can return to competitive action in March 2025.
The 2018 World Cup winner can return to training with a professional side in January, meaning that he has just over a month to sort out an agreement with a potential suitor.
Due to a mixture of injury and suspension, Pogba managed just 12 appearances for Juventus since making a high-profile return from Manchester United in July 2022.
Man United ‘make decision’ on Pogba training
According to talkSPORT, Manchester United have made a concrete decision on the possibility of allowing Pogba a shock return to the club in the near future.
Rumours have begun to circulate that the 31-year-old could be offered a training lifeline by the Red Devils following his contract termination at Juventus.
However, it is understood that Man United have no plans to welcome Pogba back to their Carrington training base under the stewardship of Ruben Amorim.
After switching to Juventus from the Red Devils on a free transfer in 2012, the Frenchman was signed back by United for a record-breaking £89m in August 2016.
Under a number of managers, Pogba failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford during his second stint, although he helped the club to Europa League and EFL Cup glory in the 2016-17 season.

Where next for Pogba?
With training at Man United’s Carrington base seemingly off the cards, Pogba will need to revise his options ahead of a return to competitive football in March.
The 91-time international is expected to continue an individual fitness programme at his home in Miami, Florida as he speaks to potential suitors.
It has been reported that the Saudi Pro League and MLS are possible destinations for Pogba, who could fancy joining the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami.
