YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The owners of a Youngstown-based marijuana grow facility have also become involved in the arts, showing off their latest project Wednesday.
Brian Kessler of Riviera Creek unveiled the two paintings by Niles tattoo artist Cory Wright. The pieces are now used on a limited edition of 1,500 canisters containing Riviera Creek’s Stambaugh Marijana product.
Wright was the winner of a contest that drew 100 artists. The company paid him $5,000.
“I wanted something that would appeal to everybody so that’s why I chose to do one in black and white and I chose to do one in color. I also wanted something when you looked at it from every angle of the tin, it was different,’ said Wright.
The unveiling was held at the restaurant Casa Di Canzonetta in downtown Youngstown because the people from Riviera Creek wanted everyone to know that downtown is open again.
