The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 4:03 a.m. on Thursday valid from Friday 1 a.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Marshall County.
The weather service says, “Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected. Both sustained wind speeds and gusts will be higher in elevated terrain.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
