YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Cardinal Mooney baseball standout Trent Litman committed to continue his career at Garrett College, a junior college in Maryland.
A signing ceremony was held at Cardinal Mooney High School on Wednesday.
Last season, Litman posted a batting average of .262 with 16 hits including a home run and 10 RBIs.
“Garrett College is just the right fit for me,” Litman said. “The coaches, the team, the location — everything works for what I’m trying to achieve.”
Cardinal Mooney head coach Ed Reese praised Litman for his dedication and passion for the game.
“Trent works as hard as any player,” Reese said. “That work ethic is one of his greatest traits, and it will help him when he gets to the next level.”
