More than 100,000 French demonstrate against President Macron after appointment of new Prime Minister

110,000 French people have taken to the streets to demonstrate against President Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by the French Ministry of the Interior. The head of state appointed the centre-right Michel Barnier as prime minister the day before yesterday. The left-wing parties consider this move unfair.
