Redditor GreenCandle10 dropped the beauty tip in a post.

She explained that she hasn’t looked back since discovering the magic of a silicone facial cleansing pad.

“I got a cheap silicone pad to apply my usual foaming cleanser with instead of using my hands after seeing a woman doing it in a video,” she said.

Though the video she watched wasn’t about cleansing, she was inspired to try the pad on her face and was wowed by the results.

“It literally makes the cleanser work ten times better and really applies well to every part of your skin,” she said.

The simple technique transformed her skin texture and eliminated the need for items in her beauty routine.

“My skin is actually transformed just from this one change,” she said.

“I don’t even feel the need to use a single one of my serums or exfoliators or masks anymore as my skin is so smooth and glowy just from this one change.”

While the Redditor didn’t specify the exact brand of silicone pads she used, skincare fans can purchase a pack of two face scrubbers on Amazon for $3.99.

“I just got a generic one from Amazon. I don’t think you can go wrong with the cheap ones,” she said.

Others agreed that the cheap facial tools were a worthy investment.

“I love using my textured silicone facial pad with a foaming cleanser,” seconded one commenter.

“I feel it gets into all my ‘nooks and crannies.’ In my opinion, it’s a game changer.”

The Redditor added that the tool allowed her cleansers to work at maximum strength.

“Nooks and crannies is exactly it,” she said.

“You’d never think something simple like that could make a product so much more effective, but I feel like it actually realizes the cleanser’s full potential.”

The Redditor added that the tool is also low maintenance.

“It’s basically self-cleaning as you’re using it with cleanser anyway,” she said.

“I just rinse it in hot water after each use, and it’s as good as new.

“Mine doesn’t really get dirty at all or need extra cleaning.”
