A MYSTERY subway worker has delighted passengers with a series of drawings on tickets.
The talented member of staff on the Glasgow network has doodled cartoon-style drawings and even scribbled down a mini masterpiece.
Travellers have shared images of Subway tickets where he has left his Banksy-style mark.
Drawings include smiley faces, animals, and a penned depiction of Vincent van Gogh’s iconic Starry Night painting on a train ticket.
Another Subway ticket shows a skeleton warrior with a speech bubble saying: “Which way to Bridge Street?”
One girl posted a child’s return ticket with a picture of a cat with the word ‘meow’ above it.
Sharing the image on Reddit, they said: “Subway ticketman drew a cat on my ticket.”
Another person shared two adult single tickets with smiley faces drawn on them and said Subway man at St Enochs drew very cute smiley faces.”
Posting the impressive Starry Night ticket, another user said: “Anyone seen a wee ginger ScotRail worker wi one ear and a bottle of absinthe kicking about?”
One person shared an image of a cartoon dog its tongue out on his Subway ticket.
Another user said they found a Subway ticket with a cartoon image of a man on it on Cathedral Street.
The Subway ticket doodles date between August and this month.
The Starry Night train brief drawing dates back to July 2021.
The identity of the Subway worker is unknown and it’s not clear if the Subway and train ticket drawings are by the same person.
But they haven’t stopped people sharing images of the curious creations.
Subway operator SPT has been contacted for comment.
