Top-seeded Northwestern opens the action against No. 5 Denver at 3 p.m. Eastern, followed by No. 2 Syracuse vs. No. 3 Boston College at 5:30 p.m. The winners will meet at noon Sunday for the national championship.
In the quarterfinals last week, Northwestern advanced behind Izzy Scane’s seven goals in a 16-6 win vs. Loyola Maryland. Denver is in its first Final Four after a 5-4 victory vs. North Carolina, rallying from a 4-1 deficit and winning on Kayla DeRose’s shot with 6:31 left. Syracuse advanced with a 13-7 win against James Madison, as Emma Ward found Megan Carney for one of the decisive goals. Boston College dominated Notre Dame for a 20-6 win behind Belle Smith’s five goals.
