The taste of classic New Orleans coffee is coming to Connecticut.
PJ’s Coffee officially opens on Nov. 20 at 3313 Berlin Turnpike in Newington. The chain is best known for its beignets and its roasting methods.
The shop will be hosting a friends and family event on Nov. 19 from 2 to 6 p.m. which includes 50% off drinks, 10% off apparel and a free small hot or iced coffee.

The grand opening of the Newington location will be from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free beignet samples while supplies last, according to a release. During opening week, the shop will also have 50% off buy one get one hot or iced coffee along with 20% off for students, teachers, healthcare professionals, first responders, veterans and active military members.
PJ’s will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a walk-up window and patio seating.
