NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) – There’s a new space for students at Jackson-Milton Elementary to enjoy.
Known as “The Nest,” this multi-purpose space features games, sensory activities, a cozy reading nook and art supplies.
The space will be used as a retreat for students, as well as for small ceremonies, events and meetings.
“The Nest” was completed last spring, thanks to donations from the Kiwanis Club, local businesses and community members.
This week, the space will be dedicated in honor of Fred Perry’s family, who donated $5,000 to the Kiwanis Club.
