Not Dwayne Johnson, I Want This 1 Celeb in Transformers-GI Joe Movie after its Insane Release Update

I am still shocked by the news that my favorite childhood franchises, G.I Joe and Transformers are finally collaborating. The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie alluded to them being from a shared universe. Then, Paramount confirmed that they were working on a crossover film and I couldn’t be happier.

As an avid fan of both franchises, I have always imagined what it would be like for Cybertronians to team up with elite agents of G.I Joe. With Derek Connelly from Jurassic Park as the writer now, I am sure this movie will end up as an epic success. However, the inclusion of one celebrity would be the cherry on the cake, and it’s not The Rock but Michael Bay.

Why Michael Bay is the only choice to direct this crossover

During his movies such as Armageddon, Bad Boys, and The Rock among others; director Michael Bay depicts an explosive style full of action. His wealth of experience in dealing with intricate plots loaded with special effects would come quite in handy in uniting G.I Joe and Transformers worlds.

The filmmaker also has prior knowledge about the franchise, having already worked on Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). He also directed Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), and Transformers: The Last Knight (2017).

So far, I have no doubt that Bay will be the best man to guide this epic quest owing to his vast experience. He simply knows how to thrill audiences and also has a soft spot for the Transformers movies, being there since the first film.

In addition, I am not the only one to have that opinion since a lot of fans on social media have also been begging for his return. People unanimously agree that the earlier movies in the franchise were superior due to the director’s unique style.

The director is also experienced in handling multiple actors in an ensemble cast, such as in Bad Boys or Transformers. Hence, the various characters from the two huge franchises will get equal importance and individual focus.

His fabulous vision may enhance the combination of Duke, Snake Eyes, and Optimus Prime among others in an unforgettable journey. This way the crossover will be a guaranteed success, with a balance between the action sequences and humor.

According to Deadline’s report, the upcoming movie’s idea is based on their Marvel-published comics from the 1980s. Steven Spielberg is going to produce the film, but there is no confirmed news about a director.

The report also named several others who might return like Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Tom DeSanto, and Don Murphy. Bay’s name was also included in the list so there’s hope he might take the director’s seat again.
