A STRICTLY Come Dancing star has revealed that even the biggest of paychecks couldn’t tempt them to sign up for I’m A Celeb.
Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay Brown in EastEnders, has revealed that he has no plans to ever join the cast of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity! in future.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Jamie explained: “For the minute, I’m in a good place with EastEnders and Strictly.
“I definitely do not want to do I’m A Celebrity, I would not do that show for all the money in the world.”
He then begged for ITV show bosses to cross him off their lists for future series as he added: “I don’t even want to go to Australia – I just don’t want to sit on a plane for 24 hours, I don’t like being away from home.”
The comments come as Jamie was forced to address the speculation he’s been hit by the Strictly Come Dancing “curse” alongside professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas.

“She’s like a sister, mum and auntie all rolled into one.”

“We’ve got sibling chemistry.”
Romance rumours between the two have been sparked through the series and their close relationship was confirmed when a show microphone picked up a very cheeky four word remark from the actor.
This isn’t the first time the EastEnders actor has been forced to shut down rumours, as he previously spoke exclusively to us, where he said: “Honestly, it’s hilarious that people think we’re getting jiggy!
“I really don’t know where that comes from, but I think everyone kind of just pre-empts the Strictly curse.”
He added: “She’s constantly like, ‘Have you slept well? Have you got this and that?’
“I’m being mothered! We’ve got sibling chemistry.”
