One Piece chapter 1131 spoilers
Ever since the spoilers of One Piece chapter 1131 have been released on the internet, the speculations about Shanks’ connection with the Accursed Prince, Loki of Elbaph, have strengthened. The spoilers have given a massive hint about Shanks’ role in Loki’s imprisonment and the hatred Loki has for the longest-running Emperor of the Sea in One Piece.
However, there is a big possibility that there might be more to the relationship between Shanks and Loki than what Eiichiro Oda has disclosed in the upcoming One Piece chapter. Shanks has been confirmed as the protector of Elbaph, and Loki is as of right now the biggest threat to Elbaph’s name. Therefore, they are bound to be opponents.
But within all of these speculations, the one that is most intriguing is Loki’s special bounty given to him by the World Government. This suggests that the World Government might know about Loki and his endeavors in One Piece, and the one who most likely snitched about him to the World Government is none other than Shanks.
The Alleged Hatred Between Shanks and Loki
The spoilers of One Piece chapter 1131 revealed that Loki’s first interaction with Luffy involved a conversation about Shanks, where Loki called Shanks a “chicken.” This enraged Luffy to the point that he launched a Gear 4 attack on the accursed prince. However, in the middle of all this, Loki warns Luffy about the giant beasts that roam the Underworld of Elbaph.
When Luffy tames them using his Conqueror’s Haki, Loki’s subordinates, who are also present with him, point out that his Haki is similar to that of Shanks. This made the plot even more interesting as it confirmed that Shanks had faced Loki and his subordinates in the past. But the one thing that is still not clear is whether he was the one who put Loki there.
All these hints and foreshadowed moments in the upcoming chapter make it obvious that Eiichiro Oda plans to use Shanks even more than usual in the One Piece narrative. There is a big possibility that he might bring him back to Elbaph and finally reunite him with Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Shanks Might Have Snitched About Loki to The Five Elders
Loki is the strongest Giant in One Piece. His Devil Fruit abilities that he stole after killing his father, his Kaido-like physique, and his Doflamingo-like cleverness make him quite dangerous. Thus, it explains the special bounty that the World Government has put on Loki’s head. But how did the World Government find out about Loki?
As Elbaph is not affiliated with the World Government, the events taking place within the country do not affect the World Government. The only possible explanation for this is Shanks. Shanks is the only one who ties Elbaph and the World Government together, and he might have told them about Loki and his threat to the One Piece world.
It would also explain the controversial scene where Shanks met the World Government to talk about a “certain pirate.” Although nothing is confirmed as of now, these speculations perfectly connect all the mysteries regarding the two One Piece characters, and fans will have to wait and see how the story develops further.
