A three-year-old was hit by a car in Odenville on Friday night, according to the town’s police department.
The Odenville Police Department received a report that “a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle” at about 6:17 p.m., and found the toddler when they arrived at the scene on Highway 411. The driver was also still present at the scene.
Regional Paramedic Services and Odenville Fire Department “began immediate medical care” and transported via RPS to Children’s Hospital, the police department said in a statement.
There are no further updates on the child’s condition. The Odenville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is currently investigating the incident.
