(WKBN) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday claiming the Washington State-based company ZoomInfo Technologies deliberately misled investors.
The lawsuit claims it led to $75.9 million in losses to two of Ohio’s pension funds.
The losses were to the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System. Yost claims ZoomInfo made aggressive efforts to prevent subscribers from canceling and bolstered its subscriber count by extending credit to small businesses — many of whom defaulted.
The lawsuit seeks damages for the financial losses.
