SOUTHINGTON, Ohio (WKBN) — One person is dead after a car crash on State Route 82 in Vienna Sunday night.
Shortly after 8 p.m., a car carrying three people including one adult and one juvenile passenger was driving southbound on Warner Road approaching State Route 82. The car failed to yield to the right of way while entering the intersection of State Route 82.
The car was struck on the passenger’s side by another car traveling eastbound. There was only one person in the second vehicle.
The impact pushed the first car off the south side of the roadway and into a ditch.
Passenger Miranda Zullo, 35 of Youngstown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The juvenile passenger was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries, and the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The other driver suffered minor injuries.
All occupants in the first vehicle were not wearing seatbelts.
The crash remains under investigation by the OSHP Warren Post.
