Nearly 40 percent of 50 to 74 year olds in Belgium receive a retirement pension. Nearly one in ten of them continued to work after first receiving a retirement pension and the following six months, according to a survey by Statbel, the Belgian statistical office, among nearly 14,000 people in 2023 on Monday.
