One person is dead following a Saturday night house fire in Deep River.
Troopers from Troop F, along with multiple fire departments, responded to the blaze on West Bridge Lane, according to the Connecticut State Police.
State police said one fatality has been confirmed at this time. The identity of the fatality has not been released at this time, according to state police.
The fire remains under investigation, state police said.
A call to the Deep River Fire Department was not immediately returned.
