The Netero Vs. Meruem’s fight was truly legendary in Hunter x Hunter. Both characters were fighting with full concentration, and Netero activated the Zero Hand. The Guanyin statue appeared behind Netero and clasped him tight. Meruem walked out of the statue’s trap alive, but it was a panel to remember.
Meruem’s Death was Made More Emotional by Yoshihiro Togashi’s Art
When Meruem dies, his last wish is to play with Komugi. Despite the poison being contagious, Komugi held him till his last breath. Meruem eventually goes blind and keeps asking Komugi if she is still there to play. Komugi holds his hand while he succumbs to eternal sleep. Yoshihiro Togashi’s enactment of this scene can crack even the toughest of nuts.
Meruem might have been a major antagonist in the Chimera Ant arc, but his journey and especially his emotional end are things that Hunter x Hunter fans will never forget.

Palm’s character design was made with a lot in mind, and he is considered the embodiment of change. Her shifting appearance highlights her erratic and anxiety-inducing personality. It also reflects on the range of Yoshihiro Togashi to portray such a character in detail.
Pouf Showing the True Nature of Ants
In chapter 298 of Hunter x Hunter, Knuckle’s spirit is crushed after seeing an overwhelming obstacle on Pouf’s face. Pouf is shaken with horror after seeing the ground zero of the Poor Man’s Rose, but he is soon snapped back to reality by Youpi. However, the few seconds were enough for Togashi to show the horrifying imagery of Pouf.
The Dark Continent Arc of Hunter x Hunter is Artistic Gold
The Dark Continent in Hunter x Hunter is a place that stretches far beyond the world of the known. Apparently, the ancestors of humans migrated to the Known World from there. Myths and ancient ruins are sprinkled everywhere on the Dark Continent.
Togashi’s imagery of the Dark Continent is beautiful as he blended in the concept of the unknown with the mysteries and animals that could exist there.
