Our goal wasn’t just to pump out another animated show. My goal is to make one of the best shows on the Netflix platform — period.
While these claims by Adi Shankar offer a sense of relief for Devil May Cry and anime fans, it also brings a little tension to some fans who have been waiting for the series for a long time.

The Devil May Cry franchise originally started in 2001. Ever since then, the game has been considered one of the greatest urban fantasy action-adventure games of all time. And one of the reasons it gained this title was its thrilling plotline that kept the game interesting forever.
The anime series also follows a similar storyline. However, it also imbues the Devil May Cry manga series that was based on Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, which is a prequel to the original game. The manga series was not able to make its name as big as the game.
