HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Pennsylvania House Democrats have voted on their new house leadership for the 2025-26 legislative session.
House Speaker Joanna McClinton and Leader Matt Bradford retained their leadership posts, while Mike Schlossberg while elected House Whip.

The leaders issued the following statement:
“House Democrats are committed to continuing our work to improve life for all Pennsylvanians, putting the needs of our communities first. Our top priority remains making life easier for working Pennsylvanians. We look forward to working with Governor Shapiro, House Republicans and the Senate to cut costs for working families, invest in our children’s education and grow our economy.”
On Tuesday Republican Leader Bryan Cutler announced he would not seek a leadership position after Republicans failed to gain seats in the House.
The House and Senate leadership votes are expected to be completed this week before the legislative session ends.
