One Amazon shopper gave a perfect score to the Airspun Loose Translucent Powder.

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” she wrote.

“This powder has been around forever, and there’s a reason for that.”

While she tried many powders on the market, she returned to the affordable powder, which she believed to be a great deal.

“It’s ‘old-fashioned’ for some, but its signature scent and super-fine texture is undeniable,” she said.

“[It’s] reminiscent of growing up; Grandma knew some things!

“No settling in fine lines and gives such a great feel to my skin after applying.”

She added that the powder gets her makeup through humid days in Florida.

“My makeup still looks fresh after a day of dashing in and out doing errands,” she said.

“I’m 58. [It’s] priced right as you get a nice amount of powder, and a little goes a good while.”

While the Airspun powder normally retails for $9.99 on Amazon, it is currently on sale for $6.74.

Another shopper said the powder is “old school, but it works.”

“The scent sort of reminds me of my Grandma, but sometimes grandmas know best!” they said.

“It works beautifully. I’ve set my foundation with it every day this week, and I’m not looking like an oil slick at the end of the day.”

One beauty fan revealed that the powder has been a staple in her family for generations.

“[My] grandma started using this in 1937… it’s become a third-generation favorite,” she said.

“This little gem of a powder has been used by my family for three generations now. It’s how I get my airbrushed look from literally any foundation.”

She added that she uses the powder with a blender brush and found that she can use less foundation as well.

First, she applies foundation with the brush, then layers her concealer on top.

Next, she uses a power puff to apply the Airspun powder under her eyes and around her face.

“Let sit for a few seconds, then lightly brush off with a clean brush,” she advised.

“Adding powder on top of your favorite foundation will lighten it considerably, but I [will] take my bronzer to fix that.”
