DARTS legend Phil Taylor believes Luke Littler is “upset” at the amount of travelling he is having to do on the PDC Tour.
Littler, 17, has enjoyed a remarkable first season at the top level of the sport, winning a host of major tournaments including the Premier League.
That came after he reached the final of the world championships at the beginning of the year.
He has won events across the globe in places such as Bahrain, Poland, Holland and Australia.
But 16-time world champion Taylor, 64, feels the jet-setting will have been a struggle for the teenage sensation.
Speaking to YO1 Radio, he said: “He’s done brilliant fair play to the lad.
“The only thing that will upset Luke at the minute, is the travelling.
“It is very tiresome and he’s not used to it. It’s not just about darts anymore, there’s a lot more involved.”
Taylor recently underwent hip replacement surgery ahead of October’s 2024 World Seniors Darts.
And he revealed in having the procedure he has had another issue corrected – that being one of his legs previously being longer than the other.

Inside Littler’s massive rise
LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship at the beginning of the year.
He said: “I had an operation about seven weeks ago.
“Yeah, I’m walking now! It wasn’t too bad. A bit sore in the beginning, but just had a few painkillers.
“It was strange. The surgeon said to me, you’ve got one leg longer than the other and I’ve levelled you up!
“It does feel strange. It’s just incredibly weird.”
