LAS VEGAS, Nevada (WKBN) – Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes was named First Team All-MLB on Thursday night at the 2024 All-MLB Awards show in Las Vegas.
The first and second team selections were determined by a combination of fan voting and voting from a decorated panel of media members, broadcasters, former players and other officials throughout the game.
During his rookie season, Skenes posted a record of 11-3 with a 1.96 ERA for Pittsburgh. In 133 innings, he piled up 170 strikeouts.
