Plan for new holiday park on shores of famous Scottish loch

The Seventy Ninth Group said that it hasĀ strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of the 17.5-acre site in Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness.

The airports have been soldThe airports have been sold (Image: PA) The owner of Glasgow and Aberdeen airports were to a Canadian investment company in a deal valued at Ā£1.53 billion.

AGS Airports, which also owns the flight hub at Southampton, has been owned by the Ferrovial and Macquarie consortium since 2014. The new owner of AGS, AviAlliance, says the airports are well-positioned for future growth with the expansion of route networks and air connectivity.

Founded in 1997 and acquired by PSP Investments in 2013, the AviAlliance portfolio of four airports collectively served 73 million passengers in 2023, an increase of more than 20%Ā compared to 2022.

Led by husband-and-wife team Stuart and Adelle Brown, the distilleryā€™s expansion includes new fermentation tanks and mash tuns, with plans to collaborate with local farmers to source key ingredients for itsĀ distinct whisky.

Deerness Distillery, in Orkney, has opened its Dashing Deer Kitchen & Bar, which “celebrates the islandā€™s rich food culture while supporting the distillery’s ambitions as the islandā€™s newest whisky distiller”.
