CLEVELAND, Ohio – It’s shaping up to be a picture-perfect weekend to kick off summer.
The National Weather Service’s forecast for Memorial Day weekend calls for clear, sunny skies across Northeast Ohio. Highs will start out in the upper 60s on Friday and slowly climb throughout the weekend, ending up around 80 on Memorial Day.
Presently, Sunday is the day most likely to see some cloud cover with clouds increasing Saturday night into Sunday before partially clearing on Monday. Overnight lows will climb from the upper 40s to the upper 50s throughout the weekend.

Lake Erie Marine forecast
Expect mostly calm conditions on the lake all weekend. Wave heights of 1-2 feet Friday will drop to a foot or less by Friday night and waters should remain that way throughout the holiday weekend. Highs will be a bit cooler on the water with highs around 60 Friday and in the low 60s for most of the weekend. Overnight lows will remain more on the mild side, only dropping into the mid 50s.

Tuesday and Wednesday both look to be sunny and warmer with highs in the 80s.
