Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man has had a massive cultural impact that has been becoming a popular name with each passing day. The series has a long way to go before it can be considered one of the major names in the industry and can be held in the same ranks as the titans like Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, One Piece, Sailor Moon, and others.
However, Fujimoto-sensei’s manga might just be the greatest piece of modern Shonen, that has raised the stakes more than before. With the title’s recent release of Chapter 177, the series has ensured that the fans and critics would praise the manga, even if it meant adding a hilarious point in between a serious battle.
The bizarre priorities of Pochita during his epic battle showcase how the Devil is the sweetest of all as he hits the emotional connection that differentiates from the other Devils featured in the series.
Pochita’s Bizarre Action Makes Him the Sweetest Devil in All of Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man Chapter 177 focuses heavily on War Devil Yoru and Chainsaw Devil. The battle began in a brutal and gruesome manner, which compelled an injured Pochita to flee from the battlefield.
With one of its arms gone, the devil wanted to heal but needed human blood to do so. However, Denji’s human personality took over as he was looking for an alternative to heal himself.
Hence, in a desperate attempt to heal himself, he encountered a volunteer, urging him to donate blood. However, he did not go after her; instead, he picked up the board that read “Give Blood <3.” The War Devil is one of the strongest Devils that Denji and Pochita have faced together; she explains how both Tank and Gun were “created out of war.”
However, she, on the other hand, was a symbol of horror because both of them were used for war, which made her far more dangerous. Yoru will prove to be a far bigger challenge that will compel our hero to bring everything from their arsenal to ensure they come out on top and exorcise her.
Nevertheless, fans were ecstatic as they read the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto and how he decided to feature the bizarre priority in a battle between life and death; it became comedy gold as well as showcasing the principles that made him different from the monsters that scare the common people with their presence.
Fans Share Their Mind on Pochita’s Polite Behavior
Fans would have read in Chapter 177 that Pochita lost an arm, and he was moving around carrying it around, looking for some blood that helped him regrow it back. However, even in a tense battle, he does not eat a person but politely asks for it so that he can take out his foe.
The fans loved his politeness, as they called Pochita a “good boy” and went on X to share their opinion on how following one’s etiquette even in an intense situation makes him so adorable.
Not going to lie this is almost as funny to me as the family burger situation

I like to think that it’s because he already killed an ate all the major, blood-rich Devils nearby. And like you said, he doesn’t want to violate his and Denji’s ethics.

It’s a fun twist on the usual trope of consuming others to regain strength. His polite request for blood fits his good-natured character and adds a unique touch to his story

Shame on the “Pochita is actually evil” conspiracy nuts.

With no blood to be found or anyone coming to deliver blood to our hero, it is difficult to say if Denji and his friend will hold on for long. However, one thing is certain: that asking for blood during a battle is one of the funniest things to read in a manga.
