Police are investigating after gunshots were fired in a park in Bristol on Tuesday.
Officers responded to Rockwell Park at 2:45 p.m. on a report of shots fired and could not find any gunshot victims, according to the Bristol Police Department.
Police said they checked with area hospitals and did not learn of anyone seeking medical help for gunshot wounds. Officers did find evidence in the park that shots were fired.
The police department’s Patrol Division is investigating along with the Detective Division.
