Police are looking for the driver involved in a crash that seriously injured a moped driver in Danbury earlier this month.
The crash occurred on Nov. 2 just after 8:45 p.m. in the area of 36 Padanaram Road where officers responded on the report of a car vs. moped collision involving injuries, according to the Danbury Police Department.
Police said the moped driver was taken to Danbury Hospital for serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The area of Padanaram Road where the crash occurred was closed in both directions for several hours while the Accident Investigation Team was on scene.
Police said investigators are “looking to make contact” with the driver of a dark two-door Jeep Wrangler.
Authorities have shared photos of the Wrangler and are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or the crash to contact Officer Leggiadro at 203-917-2156.
