A police officer was taken to the hospital following a crash in East Hartford on Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported just after 7:30 a.m. in the area of 902 Burnside Ave., according to Marc Caruso of the East Hartford Police Department.
Caruso said the officer was taken to an area hospital to be evaluated.
The other driver involved remained at the scene and has been cooperative, according to Caruso.
No further information was immediately available.
