NBC’s Saturday Night Live will return for its historic 50th season Sept. 28, 2024 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern Time (10:30 p.m. Central Time).
Episode one of the new season will feature Hacks actress Jean Smart as host and country music star Jelly Roll as the musical guest.
Saturday Night Live has released the entire lineup of hosts and musical guests set to make their appearances over the first five episodes of season 50 and are as follows:
- September 28: Jean Smart with Musical Guest Jelly Roll
- October 5: Nate Bargatze with Musical Guest Coldplay
- October 12: Ariana Grande with Musical Guest Stevie Nicks
- October 19: Michael Keaton with Musical Guest Billie Eilish
- November 2: John Mulaney with Musical Guest Chappell Roan
The new season of SNL will also see the addition of Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickline as featured cast members along with the promotion of Marcello Hernández, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker as cast regulars.
Where can I watch Saturday Night Live season 50?
Those without basic cable can still access NBC and live stream the season 50 premiere of Saturday Night Live with Peacock, Fubo or DirecTV Stream.
While Peacock is the cheaper streaming option, Fubo and DirecTV Stream both offer free trials for new subscribers who can watch for free before committing to a paid subscription.

DirecTV Stream is similar to Fubo as it offers many of the same channels and features. At $94.98 a month after its free trial, the base package comes with a little over 90 live TV channels.
