BEN DOAK is quickly establishing himself as Scotland’s new hero.
And just like every rising star, supporters have already conjured up a chant to honour him just like current fan favourites Scott McTominay and John McGinn.
Ben Doak, 19, is Scotland‘s latest breakthrough man and he has already become a huge hit among the Tartan Army.
Fans see him as Scotland’s next hope and someone who can finally be the next nation’s world class attacker for years to come – and he is already delivering despite his young age.
The teenager put in a man of the match performance against Croatia to end the Tartan Army’s long wait for a victory and keep their Nations League dreams alive.
That was his fifth cap at senior level and he impressed in his sixth appearance Poland which didn’t go their way in the end – despite Scotland snatching a late win in stoppage time.

Fans’ wish to see Doak finally being given some minutes has finally been answered by Clarke – despite him hinting the youngster would be benched for the game in Warsaw – and they’re seeing plenty of him!
It’s rare for punters to create songs for players with just six caps or appearances under their belt.
But it’s very rare that a teenager like Doak comes through the ranks – especially for Scotland.
Videos which have been widely shared on social media show Scotland fans getting into party mode in a bar in Poland ahead of the must-win game.
And while they were singing their usual songs to get into the match-day spirit, there was a new chant created especially for their new star man.
The song follows the popular fan tune that has been previously adopted by Celtic supporters for legendary goalkeeper Artur Boruc and Ibrox diehards for their Super Rangers anthem.
Lyrics for new Ben Doak song
The lyrics for Ben Doak’s new Scotland song are as follows:
Ohhh super Ben Doak
He plays for Scotland, he runs the line
You’ll hear the Scotland sing
As he’s running down the wing
Assisting Dykes or Adams and we’ll sing this song all night
It might be the first time you’ve heard the song if you weren’t over in Poland.
But it most certainly won’t be the last – unless another song for the 19-year-old takes its place in years to come.
The Tartan Army were out in their numbers Poland before the final Nations League showdown, with Clarke’s men knowing they needed at least three points to stand any chance of pulling off a monumental comeback in League A.
But while they did their job and came out 2-1 winners, they were denied a heroic finale after things didn’t to go their way in the other game between Portugal and Croatia.
Scotland needed to beat the Poles and either win by two goals or rely on Portugal to win that tie by a two-goal margin instead to leapfrog Croatia into the runners-up spot.
That would have guaranteed the Scots a place in the Nations League quarter-final and a Pot 1 spot in World Cup qualifying.
However, the last two results instead put Scotland third place in the group.

It was still a dramatic turnaround for Clarke’s men in the second round of fixtures – drawing at home to Portugal and beating both Croatia and Poland – after losing their first three ties.
Scotland will now face a relegation play-off in March to hold onto their place in League A after finishing third.
